“ The litter robot is very pricey. However, completely worth it. Do not get this if you don’t have a decent amount of space and a plug-in close by. Litter robot 4 is very easy to set up and the app is very easy to follow. For the most part, it works very well. The type of litter I use, World‘s best kitty litter does sometimes stick to the inner edge of, the liner. I have to knock the stuck on litter with a scoop, but it easily falls into the litter tray. I will see how they work out overtime but today I am very satisfied.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this machine.

My least favourite job was scooping litter (I mean, who actually enjoys that?). I haven’t had to scoop litter in almost a month, and it’s been glorious. You literally just pick up the bag in the waste drawer, throw it out and replace the bag. No scooping, no smell.

Shockingly quiet, I don’t even hear it when it runs at night.

“Pretty sticky on apps…

Under “my account” in “my robots” it says “there are no robots under your account” even though my phone is linked to the robot and it sends notifications. This might be because I bought the unit from the Amazon store. In “my orders” it does show the “LitterHopper” probably because I bought it from the company’s website (it was not available on the Amazon site).

Also you do not have the luxury to register the Litter-Robot 4 on the app or their website. This is annoying because I can do this with many other things like power tools to lawnmowers.

I turned most notifications off after an hour, just enabled the important ones. That is a good thing.

Set up was very easy for the most part, it was a struggle to find the port to plug the power in (hidden inside the back). I would suggest a yellow arrow on the back, especially helpful for people with vision issues.

As to the cats, they were very inquisitive off the start and they fully tested out the failsafe system. The unit was quiet and did not spook them.

I would suggest getting a surge protector because of the price (they are not much). For the price I think the basic warranty should be longer, at least three years and maybe a subscription for longer.

Overall the Litter-Robot offers the flexibility to be away from the house for a longer duration.

Update: day 5, unit is keeping the litter clean and odor free. Pricey but worth the investment.”
